December Luncheon
Our December luncheon was a huge success with everyone dressed in their
Christmas sparkles. Members enjoyed shopping the Members' Market
for those perfect last minute gifts. With no set program, everyone
had plenty of time to catch up with each other between shopping and lunch!
Gorgeous little pointsettias were won by 12 lucky members during
the post luncheon drawing. Piano music added that touch of the holidays.

models. However, she is looking for those ladies that would be interested
in modeling. This is a tongue in cheek show, so size 8 bodies are not
needed! Please call Maxine if you might be interested, and she will
then set up a meeting for all those that wish to participate, and explain
the show. She could use up to 14 models. A fun time should
be had by all. For info contact Maxine at 830-7655 or max1855@aol.com

December 1st was the night of the D9 Scholarship Dessert at Eagle
Point High School. And again, the Eagle Point Women's Club came through
with a large presence. Maxine Williams organized the Volunteers. Maxine,
Ruth Jenks, Janet Siedlecki and Gayle Schanck decorated 5 tables filled
with 37 members and spouses of the Eagle Point Women's Club. Many
of the members contributed a dessert for all to share.
In addition to the tables Maxine organized, Carolyn Stieber hosted her
own table filled with an additional 11 members of the Eagle Point Women's
Club. Nancy Hanon also hosted tables,
and was a member of the Community Scholarship Committee.
According to the Upper Rogue Independent, there
were 200+ in attendance with donations totaling $4,700 with more to be
received in coming days.
